How GradeX Works

A concise 6-step flow for high-volume iOS and Android processing.

    Intake & IMEI Validation

    Upload or scan smartphone IMEIs (iPhone or Android), and GradeX validates each against blacklist, network-lock, iCloud/Google lock, and finance lock checks before proceeding.

  2. Step 2

    Supervised Mode Activation & Diagnostics Install

    GradeX runs in iOS Supervised Mode or Android Enterprise mode to silently install the diagnostic agent behind the scenes—no user tapping or manual setup needed.

  3. Step 3

    Diagnostics & Grading

    A full battery of tests runs automatically on iOS and Android smartphones (battery health, sensors, camera, Face ID/Touch ID, connectivity, display). Devices are assigned grades or status flags.

  4. Step 4

    Erasure + Audit Logging + QR Certificate

    Once smartphones pass, GradeX triggers data erasure workflows. Each device produces a tamper-resistant, per-device log and QR-encoded validation certificate.

  5. Step 5

    Fallback / Manual Override

    For locked or problematic smartphones, technicians can override, tag a condition (e.g. "iCloud locked," "Google locked," "needs rework") and submit diagnostic results with context.

  6. Step 6

    Analytics & API Export

    All collected data flows into GradeX Central. Use REST APIs or webhooks to feed results into your inventory, ERP, or reporting systems.
